We ordered the shrimp in sambal sauce. Sauce is similar to Filipino bagaong. Roti & curry dipping saice. Pineapple fried rice! All 3 dishes were delicious. Chef Lee and staff were very friendly and fast service!

Happened upon Banana Leaf Cafe by chance and we were thrilled. Delicious Malaysian cuisine. Loved the Coconut Shrimp. Creamy, yummy flavors and fabulous presentation! Pineapple Fried Rice and Banana Leaf Salad were tasty too. Chef Lee was kind enough to visit our table and explained the rich history of Malaysian cuisine. Staff was friendly and very attentively. We will definitely be back to try the Cashew Chicken and Mango Shrimp!

Stopped by for a quick lunch during their soft opening! Ordered mango chicken, banana leaf rice with curry chicken and a fried crab appetizer (not shown). Really yummy especially the mango chicken!! The presentation of all the dishes were so beautiful. Service was also very good. Will definitely be back to try their laksa noodles!

If you haven't try this place yet. Don't just walk there, RUN. It's as authentic as Malaysian food can be. Chef Lee really put heart and soul into his cuisine. Great bak kut teh. Authentic satay, flavorful nasi lemak. Absolutely must try. It's definitely one of my top new favorite restaurant. I would try the whole menu if I can. But I guess that have to wait. But good things come to those who wait. Get your move on and make sure your belly is empty. This place will fill you up. Truly magnificent.
